Yesterday it was my aunt’s birthday, so my parents and sister came up to Manchester to visit them and do general family stuff. The ironic thing is that my parents brought me a nice big homemade chocolate cake and not my aunt! Result! So I’m here munching away on a large piece right now!
On the general escapades in town, we wandered into Selfridges food court which is amazing, and if anyone is interested in Sushi, Chinese, fancy deli stuff, chocolate….actually just if you are interested in nice food, its well worth a visit.
Today Katharine and I met up with my sister and my two cousins for some lunch at the Trafford Centre. Its such an amazingly big shopping centre, and it defiantly looks like some sort of church to shopping from the inside! I was unimpressed by one of the restaurants in the food court though, as we waited well over an hour-and-a-half for our food, and was defiantly not worth the price tag!
On a more internet note (and a less food orientated), my webcam is back up and running, and currently it updates itself every 15 min so look out for random people walking down the road! I will try and find a more interesting position for it tomorrow!
