Well the experiment is going well, (what experiment) so far I have managed to spend under £1 per day with a little to spare!
My greatest single expense so far has been a bus ticket yesterday morning, when I realised between my bedroom and the bus-stop I had lost my bus pass! I have walked instead since which I’m sure is doing me some good!
I also splashed out on some bread and baked-beans!
Here is my “reciept” so far:
| £ | |
| Bus Ticket | 0.50 |
| Bread | 0.43 |
| Baked Beans | 0.29 |
| Total | 1.22 |
Current Balance = £5.78
I recently realised that I spend far too much money! It is easy to spend in one day more then the average monthly income in most 3rd world countries.
So I have decided to try and do a little experiment to see if I can live on £1-a-day for 7 days. I expect this to be fairly hard.
My bus pass expires on Friday so that will be one of the first luxuries to go, and I guess not much beer either as the average pint is 2 days income! I have a fair bit of food in the fridge/freezer so I should be able to get by!
I’ll let you know how it goes!
Current Balance = £7
Well it is certainly the season for projects!
Matt is working on his crazy poker tournament manager which sounds like its coming along nicely. I’m certainly looking forward to using it!
I have also just started work on a podcast manager which so far does not have a name! Basically I hope it will be able to create RSS feeds, upload them to ftp and the like! I think I’ll also extend it to act as a podcast syndicator. Not an overly complicated task but it is keeping me busy.
Also I’m still working on the Access Money website which is doing ok!
Furthermore, I have the task of creating a html version of the Intension website which should be a nice task.
