I have finally started work on Northern-Quarter.org.
The aim of this site is to be a community website, with a “Web 2″ ethos. We really want to encourage the growth of community in the Northern Quarter, so this website is going to try and reflect the creativity and culture of the area.
It has a long way to go, but the main structure of the site is there, if your interested in keeping up with the progress, you can register for updates on the main page.

Well I was randomly surfing the internet for “Take over the world” in my boredom, and came across a website dedicated to it!

Exams seem like they have been lasting ages, but really it only the 4th day since they started, however the revision has been going on… well at least a good day or two before that.
Has anybody seen Big Brother? It is defiantly a random bunch of people. It seems like there are a load of really really strange people this year. There are a few normal (*as normal as a Big Brother contestant can be) people, and I was wondering if the Big Brother teams thinking was, by putting a load of lunatics in with a bunch of averagely ‘normal’ people they will get the entertainment of seeing them being terrorised!
I haven’t really seen that much of it but it looks quite entertaining.
“Geekstuff” my geeky alternative to paulbain.co.uk seems to be going ok, getting a few hits, and I hope it will pick up as I add more stuff!
Last night, Duncan and I were walking back from a jolly outing to the Queen of Hearts for Nat’s Birthday, and on the way I found a £5 note. We got talking about what would be the moral thing to do with it.
I suggested giving it to charity was better than giving it to the police as its only £5 and would be a waste of time to do that.
Duncan pointed out that the person who’s money it was, may not have wanted it to go to the charity I may choose, so would be better to give £10 of your own money and keep the £5 for yourself. I’m not sure I agree!

I was looking over the past few posts I made on this site, and realised it all a bit sad!
