Interests

Technology and innovation have been a passion of mine since an early age and I always attempt to keep at the forefront of the field. Furthermore I take a keen interest in how technology can help to improve business efficiency, particularly within the charity sector.

I currently dedicate portions of my spare time to three major charities providing strategic support and expert advice on digital marketing and customer relationship management (CRM).

My love of technology prompted me to read Computation at UMIST and The University of Manchester where I gained a solid understanding of software engineering and where I was given the opportunity to progress into the exciting fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Moreover, the degree enabled me to study economics, business management and accountancy at the Manchester Business School, providing a good understanding of business principles to compliment the engineering principles.

Travelling is also a great love of mine, and I have had the fortune to visit many exciting countries. In 2004 I organised an aid mission to Nigeria in association with the Coventry ICR. This aid mission provided the opportunity for 12 young people to experience the diverse culture in Nigeria and to observe the effects of ongoing conflicts to local communities.

In addition I am keen sportsman, enjoying regular games of squash and frequently attending local rugby matches.

I also have had a great love of music since an early age having been a choral scholar and playing both classical and flamenco guitar to a high standard. More recently I had a key role in forming a band in which we recorded a CD and played at local venues.
