Tactile CRM Plugin for WordPress

WordPress is an awesome blogging engine which is increasingly being used as a content management system (CMS), however it isn’t really setup for CRM.

I’ve seen a few ideas about how you could adapt WordPress for CRM but none that really seem effective. Why try to take an awesome CMS and try to bend it into being a CRM?

So I have come up with a solution by integrating WordPress with Tactile CRM (free account available). By using my easy to install and configure, you can inject contact requests from your WordPress site directly into your Tactile CRM account. Best of all, it’s free!

Currently the plugin will do the following:

  • Create an organisation and person
  • Add an activity to respond to the person
  • Add a note against the person, organisation and activity

To install:

  • Download the plugin here: Tactile_CRM_Wordpress.zip
  • Upload to your plugin directory and activate from with WordPress
  • Grab your API token from your Tactile Preferences (see help)
  • Insert a the simple tag into any page or post: {tactile_contact}

If you need any help or you’d like me to customise the plugin to your needs (for a small cost) please contact me at support (at) paulbain.co.uk
